Help: Heard of the Falun death camps?

What I'll remember most about a recent trip to London isn't the street performers in Convent Gardens or the trendy bars in soho but the tears I fought back in the crowds of Trafalgar Square.

The grace of the lovely Falun Gong performers and the gore of blood splattered photographs of the tortured was undeniably gripping. Helping to gather support, volunteers passed out handmade paper flowers from behind tables overflowing with signed petitions.

Since 1999, Chinese officials banned 100 million people in China from practicing Falun Gong. What's happening to the Falun Gong is like what happened to the Jews in the Holocaust. The world has gone mad once again...They are good people. Categorized as felons, they practice meditation and gentle excercises believing in the cultivation of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.

I had heard about them a few years ago like they were some crazy cult. I remember filling out this form to study in China. They had a check box by which you swear you wouldn't get involved in the Falun Gong. Naturally, I thought they must be dangerous.

Later, I found out they were nothing like that, but the officials had feared them simply because they outnumbered the Chinese goverment.

A United Nations report confirms their torture. Men, women, young and old are imprisoned, tortured, and murdered for organs. Being sent to death camps, they are regarded as raw materials to be handled in any financially beneficial way without penalty.

Sadly, China International organ translplant center is still open for business...
